About

I am a PharmD and neuroscience researcher with a background in Medicinal Chemistry from Sapienza University of Rome. During my Master’s thesis, I conducted in vivo optogenetic and fiber photometry experiments aimed at investigating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in the laboratory of Prof. Patrizia Campolongo. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Computational Neuroscience at the Weizmann Institute of Science, within Ilan Lampl’s Laboratory. My doctoral research focuses on the role of serotonergic neuromodulation in the cerebral cortex during learning processes guided by decision making and perception.
